Common Questions

What Roasters Ask
About Our Green Coffee

Everything you need to know about sourcing, quality, and working with Manna Origins.

About the Origins
How many origins do you actually source from?

Currently, we are importing green coffee directly from 4 origins: Honduras, Guatemala, Uganda, and Costa Rica.
We plan to expand our offerings to new origins. If there is a particular origin you would love to see in our offering, please reach out to let us know!

Can I visit an origin?

We love taking partners to Origin! Please email us to discuss options.

Is the Triple Blessing model the same in every country?

We will continue to implement the Triple Blessing in every origin, because that is the basic DNA of Manna Origins.
The specific projects we employ to reinvest in Origin communities will be driven by our partners at origin and the greatest need in the community, with a particular focus on caring for orphaned and vulnerable children and supporting their educational and developmental needs in their community.

Samples & Ordering
How do I get a sample?

Use the sample request form. Pick the lots you want, give us a little context on your roastery, and we'll ship within a few business days.

Are there minimum or maximum sizes for orders?

We can do a minimum order of one bag to orders at or more than a container.
If you are looking to secure a container or more, please reach out as soon as possible as that may require pre-harvest planning and coordination.

How do I confirm pricing?

Direct-trade pricing changes per harvest, per lot, and per quantity. A public price list misrepresents what's actually a relationship-driven offering. If you are interested in pricing on any or all our coffees, one of our sales team members would be happy to discuss. Please reach out to us via our Contact page or at orders@mannaorigins.com.

How We Source
What does "direct trade" actually mean for Manna?

It means we source through relationships rather than anonymous commodity channels. We work directly with producers, exporters, and origin partners we know and trust, prioritizing transparency, long-term partnerships, and clear communication. Behind every lot is a real sourcing story and a supply chain we know personally, firsthand.

Are you certified Fair Trade, Organic, or Rainforest Alliance?

Not yet. Manna Origins is actively pursuing certification and expects to complete that process by the end of the year. In the meantime, we work with producing partners who hold Fair Trade, Organic, and other certifications and can source certified coffees through our network. We value the role certifications can play while also prioritizing transparency, long-term relationships, and firsthand knowledge of the people and communities behind the coffee.

Where does the margin actually go?

After covering all our costs, Manna Origins reinvests 100% of our profits back into the origins where the margin was generated from. As projects are started and completed, please see the Our Story page to learn more on how these profits are completing the Triple Blessing. If you would like to become involved in any of our origin projects, please reach out to us!
